New CEO at Myklebust Verft

Myklebust Verft has appointed Kristin Hide Truelsen as the new CEO. Truelsen comes from the position of Site Manager for Brunvoll Volda and will assume her new role in August 2023. Leiv Sindre Muren, who is currently the acting CEO, will return to his position as CFO when Truelsen takes over.

Kristin comes to Myklebust with extensive experience in the maritime industry, having worked on projects both nationally and internationally. In addition to an MDA in Technology Management and her tenure at Brunvoll Volda, Kristin has significant leadership experience. This includes 15 years of service at ABB Ulsteinvik, where she was most recently employed as the Head of Project Management, says Chairman Per-Christian Kroepelien Lillebø. We also consider it a significant strength that Kristin has relevant experience in the shipbuilding industry. She began her career as a welder at Ulstein Verft and was previously employed at Myklebust as a production planner in the early 2000s, adds Lillebø.
